At Pengu Swim School, safety and fun is not only our mission, it is our philosophy. Pengu was founded upon the concept of safety and fun, which drives our every decision.
From the school’s building design to curriculum development and staffing decisions, safety and fun are our top priorities. Why safety? Why fun? We want children to learn to swim and have fun doing so. We want to ensure parents and members of the community are educated about the dangers of water.
We believe that a safe and secure environment contributes to successful learning. When children feel safe and secure, they are more likely to trust, begin exploring, and take healthy risks. Trust, exploration, and risk-taking are all necessary to the learning process, particularly in the water.
Once a safe and secure learning environment is established, it’s time to have fun! Who does not like to have fun? Like safety, fun is an important part of the learning process. When a child is having fun, they are more likely to engage in the lesson and retain the information being taught.
This leads the swimmer to have a more memorable experience. At Pengu, it is our hope that through safety and fun children will develop a lifelong love for swimming.

Lessons
Our company leadership and certified instructors take responsibility for our role in the success of our swim school students. Our staff has mutual respect and responsibility towards each student and parent. Pengu Swim School wants to see each student develop their swimming skills. Our staff will personally evaluate each student on an individual level and encourage them to advance their swimming program.
TRANSPARENCY
Integrity
Relationships matter to us in the communities we serve daily. Each of our Red Cross-certified instructors will be honest with his/her job role and responsibility. We use a rating system to communicate with each parent the achievements of the swimming program development.
Sometimes, parents think their child is advancing faster than they actually are. We will be honest and keep the safety of your child in mind.
Furthermore, we value any feedback you have about our swimming school and the swimming programs we offer for our communities.

We love what we do. Pengu Swim School staff finds great joy in the service we provide. We have priced our services as some of the lowest swimming lessons prices in Houston. Each swim school values each student and we want each person to know that they are valued.

Above all else, we want all kids to have fun and live water safe. We believe that dancing with our kids to La Brass Banda is a great way to relax and have fun. Therefore, we share our passion with others so we can help students find their passion.
