Intermediate 2 (3+ years old)
The Intermediate swimming lessons 2 level focuses on survival swimming using the rollover breathing method. Swimmers at this level are comfortable in the water and have already learned a few self-saving techniques.
Swimmers will learn to master the rollover breathing technique as well as learn how to do “big arms” (modified freestyle). They will also learn how to do “messy backstroke” (kicking on the back with some overhead arm movement). Once the swimmer has mastered modified freestyle and backstroke, they will be ready for the Intermediate 2 level.
